Khatu Shyamji is a Hindu deity and considered as a most important pilgrimage site in sikar district,Rajasthan, India.Khatu Shyamji is the manifestation of Barbarika, the son of Ghatotkacha and grandson of Bhima, the second Pandava brother.
The Story of Khatu Shyamji
Barbarika was a brave warrior who learned warfare from his mother. Lord Shiva gave him three arrows, and Agni gave him a bow. Barbarika promised his mother he would join the losing side in the battle between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Krishna, disguised as a Brahmin, stopped Barbarika to test his strength. Barbarika sacrificed his head at Krishna’s request.

The Khatu Shyamji Temple is located in Khatoo village, 16km from reengus City. It’s a sacred site that’s known for its spiritual presence and for fulfilling devotees’ prayers.
